During a meeting with representatives of each of the Euro Carex railports and the consultancy agency in charge, the feasability study of the Euro Carex concept was launched. The study aims to identify the potential freight volumes to feed the Euro Carex rail freight service at European level and to evaluate the revenue and expenses linked to it. The results of the study are expected by the end of the year.
A Euro Carex delegation met representatives of the Italian rail transport company Mercitalia, which will launch a high-speed railfreight service in Italy in October 2018.
